How long is the exhaust air hose?

The exhaust air hose for the MKT (Eco) and RKL (Eco) series is 1.25 metres long.
The SKM (Eco) series has a 1.20 metre long exhaust air hose.

Can the exhaust air hose be extended?

No, because extending it can damage the exhaust fan.

How big may the room be?

The air volume is determined by the room size. The air volume lies between 80 m³ and 100 m³, depending on the size of the unit. In addition, however, factors such as the number of people in the room, electrical appliances, solar radiation, etc. must also be taken into account. Basically, the series are suitable for the following room sizes:
MKT (Eco) for 80 m³ to 90 m³
RKL (Eco) for 90 m³ to 100 m³
SKM (Eco) for 80 m³ to 90 m³

Do the MKT, RKL and SKM units have weekly programming?

Weekly programming is not possible, but interval switching (switch-on and switch-off delay) can be set.

How much condensate accumulates?

The amount of condensate depends on the room temperature and room humidity. On average, about 1 litre/hour can be produced. The condensate is continuously removed through waste heat by means of a condensate pump located in the unit.

What do you have to take into account when cleaning?

The filters should be completely cleaned after one application period at the latest. Please follow the instructions in section "Maintenance and Care” of the operating instructions.

How loud are the local air conditioners?

The sound power level of the MKT (Eco) series is 65 dB(A). The RKL (Eco) room air conditioner achieves a sound power level between 64 dB(A) and 65 dB(A). Here you will find a comparison table.

Can the refrigerant line be extended?

No, an extension is not possible.

Can the refrigerant line be disconnected?

Disconnection and connection must be carried out by a specialist technician.

Water collects in the outdoor unit. Is that normal?

Yes, the condensate produced in the cooling process is transported to the outdoor unit by a pump in the indoor unit. Some of the condensate collects in the trough and is used to cool down the outdoor unit. Excess condensate is discharged via the condensate connection.

Do you have to do maintenance? If so, how often?

Yes, REMKO recommends annual maintenance by a specialist company.

How loud is the unit?

The sound power is 57 dB(A) for the indoor unit and 62 dB(A) for the outdoor unit.
Here you will find a comparison table.

Do you need a wall opening?

Yes, two wall openings with a diameter of 16 cm are required for the exhaust and supply air.

Can I also heat with the unit?

Yes, heating is possible. Please refer to the technical data for the areas of application.

How loud is the unit?
